Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

When you fill out the “Request a demo” form, the Labs access sign-up (Bud Strategy Lab and Bud Performance Lab) or the Performance Lab diagnostic, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Work email
  • Company name and size band
  • Phone number (optional)
  • In the Performance Lab diagnostic: your answers to the 10 questions, which describe your company's process and never ask for employee data
  • Preferred language of the form
  • Technical data: browser user-agent, referrer, UTM parameters, and a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (we never store the IP in readable form).
  • Third-party analytics tools loaded only after explicit consent: Google Analytics 4 (aggregated usage metrics), PostHog (usage events and session recordings with sensitive fields and areas masked), and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings). In Bud Strategy Lab and Bud Performance Lab, session recordings are disabled and PostHog receives only events that do not contain the answers.

You can review your analytics preferences at any time.

2. Legal basis

Form data is processed based on the consent given before submission. Analytics tools depend on a separate choice in the cookie banner, which can be reviewed at any time.

3. Purpose

We use form data to unlock access to the Labs, send the skills or the diagnostic report, with a short email sequence you can cancel from the link in any message, contact you, introduce the Bud platform, and understand your company's context. Analytics data helps us measure usage and improve the website experience. We do not sell data or use it for behavioral advertising; the providers listed above process data only as needed for these purposes.

4. Storage and retention

Form data is stored in a Google Cloud managed database (Firestore), region us-central1, with access restricted to Bud's internal team. It is retained for up to 24 months and automatically deleted after that. Analytics data is processed in each provider's infrastructure according to that service's configuration and retention periods.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Confirm we process your data
  • Access and correct the data
  • Request restriction, erasure, or anonymization
  • Withdraw consent at any time
